Privacy Policy

Your privacy is not just a feature—it's our foundation. ARK is designed from the ground up to collect zero user data.

Privacy at a Glance

ARK is a privacy-first offline medical reference application. Here's what that means:

  • Zero data collection: We collect no personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry
  • Fully offline: No network connections required or made by the application
  • Local-only storage: All data stays on your device, encrypted at rest by your operating system
  • No user accounts: No authentication, registration, or identity verification required
  • Open source transparency: AGPL-3.0 licensed—audit every line of code yourself

1. Data Collection

ARK is designed with a privacy-first, offline-first architecture. This means we fundamentally cannot collect your data because the application does not communicate with external servers.

This is not a policy choice—it is an architectural guarantee. ARK operates entirely offline with no backend infrastructure to receive data.

2. Data Usage

Since we collect no data, we use no data. ARK does not transmit information to developers, third parties, advertisers, analytics platforms, or any external service.

All medical reference content is embedded within the application at build time. Your searches, bookmarks, and usage patterns remain exclusively on your device.

3. Data Storage

All data generated or stored by ARK remains on your local device. This includes user preferences, bookmarks, search history, and any other application state.

You retain complete control over your data. Uninstalling the application removes all associated data from your device.
